read, watch, observe, listen,interact.....grow

I remember being told by a youth leader of some sort, when I was young, that there are only two influences that change us, that mature us beyond our teenage selves,  that ensure our ongoing growth as an adult so we eventually become wiser with our age.

Those two influences were:

people and books

When it's stated that bluntly, (the only two things that make us grow), it kind of makes you want to get reading! and listening to and engaging in more dialogue with others!  These days, I would also add other multi-media, including film, and I would add art. As concepts are touched on in the lesson plans and resources I post on TPT and blogs I post on this website, I'll slowly compose a list of "must reads" or "must sees" and I hope others recommend their own.
